Do you agree that no Singapore trip is complete without visiting Merlion Park or other tourist attractions around the marina bay for that matter? I believe that the iconic statue of half lion and half fish alone is a very famous souvenir photo background for visitors. I tell you, the first time I step foot in the area, I immediately got amazed by two things, first, by how diverse is the crowd in that place, second, by the expensive price of common snacks (e.g. a cup of soft ice cream); perhaps because of the popularity of the place and the seasonal influx of people.
Hubby took lots of photos but unfortunately most of them have random people beside us. Lol.
The Merlion Park has an awesome view of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
This is at Journey of Dreams, a mini museum where the making of Singapore Flyer is in exhibit.
Riding the giant ferris wheel will give you a fantastic 360° view of Singapore.
Here is a zoomed photo of Gardens by The Bay as seen from the Singapore Flyer.
We thought we could enjoy Gardens by the Bay before sunset. Too bad the lines were too long.
And the little one started taking her afternoon nap at her father's shoulder.
I really love the garden in the city concept of Singapore. I mean, you can see lush of greens not in parks or the huge Singapore Zoo alone but also in highways and other random corners of the city. I like the fact that they are able to maintain a clean and orderly community; I think some of the reasons why more and more foreigners wants to work or live for good in this city.
Our family had so much trip during trip. We will definitely go back!
