Hello, Kitty!

Wednesday hump day. For office girls, it could be a tough day at work, but for my elder daughter, it's just one more day and she's done with school. It's exam week and today is the second day of her fourth quarter exam. For some reason, there will be no classes tomorrow and then they'll be back to school on Friday. I hope to be able to prepare an awesome bento snack for her before the curriculum year officially ends. Anyhow, I did a little practice and so I present to you my simple Hello Kitty bento.

Yeah, this simple like I told you. It's only spaghetti, sandwich, coated biscuits and some fresh fruits.

I used my new bento tool, a Hello Kitty sandwich cutter from Japan Home.

Here's my new Hello Kitty food picks, too.

I know I was supposed to write about my last DIY project. I refashioned a simple dress by adding sleeves and lace. Can't wait to tell you about it. I have no photos yet so I ended up making this entry first. Bye for now and have a happy hump day. Smile! :)

Berry Bento

It's the month of March, you guys! Yippee!! Yooohooo!!! For my elder daughter, school is ending next week right after the 4th quarter test. I can't believe she's almost done with grade one and summer break is just around the corner. Okay now, let me share another strawberry bento, something that I prepared last month but too busy to blog about right away.

Here's some fresh strawberries and mango balls in my daughter's pink strawberry bento container.

The other container has her favorite hotdog hearts and steamed white rice.

I will sure to post maybe a couple more bento snacks for this month. At least, not to put this blog on vacation yet even I'm very much eager to jet set or start basking under the sun already. Truth is, we have a couple of scheduled trips, one local and one international for the summer. I am freakin' excited to go that I already began shopping for clothes to use during travel. What about you, ladies? Do you have plans for the summer? Where are you heading?
