We stayed at Kusadasi Guesthouse Pansiyon for P2500 per person/ night including free breakfast. IKR.. more expensive than Susuzlu Hotel in Izmir because of its location.

The view from the balcony of our room. See what I mean here? This place is a resort town and the guesthouse is just across the beach that's why accommodation is a little higher.

We woke up to this view of the blue horizon and a large Mediterranean cruise ship docked at the peninsula on our second day. Ahhh.. so beautiful and postcard perfect!
Zooming in my camera, I could see the Guvercin Adası or "Pigeon Island". Sorry about the wrong info in my previous post HERE. I really thought Pigeon Island is also Pygale.

It was 19 Mayis or the 19th of May. There was this parade of people holding Turkish flags and banners in commemoration of Atatürk and celebration of Youth and Sports Day.

The weather was really nice that day. The temperature was around 24 to 26 degrees and it was quiet windy, so we went to the beach for swimming and looking around.

My husband and the daughter tried the Aegean beach. Everybody seemed to have fun under the sun except for me. I was not in the mood for swimming with my pregnant belly. Hihi.
On our last night, we walked around the marina area and discovered this food and shopping place. After dinner, we went to town's center to see the performance of Şevval Sam.
That's all for Kusadasi. I know it's already August and I am being slow in dealing with backlogs. I still have a couple of travel post to come so please just tune in! :)
I never thought na ganyan pala kaganda sa Turkey.. In fairness ang linis.
ReplyDeleteThe beach looks real cozy and very beautiful at night.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a beautiful country and their culture is rich.
ReplyDeleteWow! The view is majestic! :)
ReplyDeleteThe place looks so nice and beautiful. I remember my friend by looking at those pictures. She has a turkish boyfriend and she's been there too I guess :)
ReplyDeleteTurkey will be added to my list of Must See Places.
ReplyDeleteThanks

The place is beautiful! I think P2500/person/night is okay if you get that kind of view.
ReplyDeleteAng linis! Plus that view is really for postcard keeps. Dami pala places to explore sa Turkey. =)
ReplyDeleteOh, I've seen a lot of heavily pregnant women clad in two piece swimsuits, I guess you did not want to join the bandwagon. They say that being pregnant is the best excuse for wearing skimpy, you can have all the bulges and nobody would care. =) The hotel room is quite pricey, but it has a very nice view, I think it's worth the price.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't think twice if I were to swim preggy here in PH, but in TR, it's a little different there. Hihi.

DeleteAw, this is so hard. The more travel blogs that I read the more places I want to visit. Another place to visit and experience TURKEY. I didn't thought that this place is "nakakahalina". Just seeing the photo, parang gusto ko ng pumunta agad, as in now na! Haha. Kudos for traveling spontaneously, that's the time you can see/ meet the unexpected. Just out of curiosity, why not swim with the family? Flaunt that baby bump.
ReplyDeleteWow, so nice naman! The view makes the price of the place you stayed at worth it. Makes me wanna hit the beach tuloy. :)

The view is just perfect! This post made me miss the beach moreeee. I haven't touched a beach sand for a long time already.
ReplyDeleteWow, Turkey beaches are beautiful pala! Okay na yung price for that kind of view. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Turkey. Would love to visit it again. :)
ReplyDeleteAww.. I feel bad that I wasn't able to spend my summer in a beach. Bawi na lang ako next year. Ganda rin pala ng beach sa Turkey, mommy. Akala ko puro dessert din doon. :)
