A Brazilian Tour In My Bucket List

I just added Rio de Janeiro in my bucket list after hubby told me how much he wanted to go to that place. I admit, Rio isn't my number one dream travel destination in the world. It's Paris and there is Cyprus and a few more cities in Europe and North America after it. However, wives just can't allow husbands to go whenever they want to go, right? So, hubby and I are now sharing a travel bucket list.

Guess what, the biggest carnival in the world is happening in four weeks. It is called the biggest carnival because an estimated two million people gather on the streets each year to witness this parade of floats and sexy samba dancers. This year, Rio de Janeiro Carnival falls on the 9th of February.

When on a Brazil tour, another must-see aside from the carnival and the famous Ipanema Beach is Cristo Redentor or Christ the Redeemer. Apparently, it is considered as the largest art deco statue in the whole world, so I myself would like to see it as well. Imagine riding a cable car going up and then para-gliding going down. Opps, I think I am watching too much travel shows. Haha!

Hey, what is your dream vacation? Any place you really wish to visit? A touristic destination to see and experience at least once in your life?
