SM Kid's Fashion Spring Summer 2013

Once again, I was at the SMX Convention to attend the Philippine Fashion Week. I had a number of invites for different shows, but I got to attend the SM Kid's Fashion Spring Summer 2013 alone due to a very busy schedule. Well, SM Kid's Fashion for spring and summer 2013 featured trendy pieces from Crib Couture, Litte Miss, Hello Kitty, Bradley, Dude, Modern Princess, Modern Price, Blush, Girls Edition, Boys Got Style, and Trajecitos de Bebe. Here's for my photo-logue.

First to walk were baptismal clothes for babies.

So cute! This is from Trajecitos de Bebe.

Princess Ryan and her baby princess walked the runway.

I love these polka dot dresses from Little Miss.

This collection reminds me of Chiara Ferragni of Blonde Salad. Hihi.

These vintage looking white dresses look adorable!

Of course, the boys had to show off some boy fashion too.

Boys Got Style
Boys Got Style is a high-energy brand for kids who aren't afraid to have fun with fashion. The clothes are all about experimenting with the different looks you can achieve with eye-catching pieces, like vividly-hued button-downs with contrasting patterned collars and color-blocked shirts. Make everyday casual outfits extraordinary with smart tees that showcase quirky prints and textures, and slacks in risk-taking shades like grape and burgundy. With a veritable feast of color and print options, there’s never a boring moment with Boys Got Style.

There’s a reason why the preppy look has always been in style – it’s all about timeless patterns and cuts that bring out a lad’s inner charm. Bradley, with its classic shirts, vests, cardigans, and patterned shorts, evoke prep-school chic in handsome little boys. Ideal for kids who like looking neat and well-groomed, the versatile brand also stays active with sportier pieces like hoodies and varsity jackets. Boys will be boys, after all!

Dude’s trendy apparel uses dynamic prints and fluid patterns to create an edgy, yet undeniably youthful vibe for pre-teens and tweens. Fashionable kids can express themselves in multiple layers through Dude’s richly-textured button-down shirts over the brand’s rocking graphic tees. Deck your kids out in Dude and watch them take the world by storm!

Modern Prince
Unmistakably dandy, yet with a distinctly energetic approach to fashion, Modern Prince brings the Upper East Side aesthetic to your boys’ wardrobe. Along with sophisticated button-down shirts in a variety of bold colors, the brand also offers blazers in both classic and extra-fun prints. Two-piece outfits with matching blazers and shorts give sartorially-inclined boys a dapper ensemble for extra-special occasions while maintaining a youthful vibe. Groom your kids into runway royalty with the chic collection from Modern Prince.

Crib Couture
There’s nothing more adorable than a well-dressed toddler. Crib Couture features fun pieces that make your precious little ones look like experienced models. Going beyond the usual aesthetics, the brand offers high-fashion choices for kids aged 2 to 4. Boys are handsome little gentlemen in plaid shorts, richly-colored cardigans, and bow ties  while girls take on a ritzy flair with animal-print tops and matching bottoms. Crib Couture’s apparel turns your bundles of joy into impeccably stylish infants.

Of all these, I love Girls Edition, Little Miss, Modern Princess, Blush and Hello Kitty the most. I actually shop from those brands for my daughter. If I have a baby boy, I am sure I would be shopping at Modern Prince, Bradley, Dude and other boy brands as well.

Anne Curtis Versus Ria Bolivar

I know you recognized the dress that Anne Curtis wore at the Bench fashion show! I supposed it was the same dress that Ria Bolivar wore on the runway for the Spring / Summer 2013 Collection of Ezra Santos.

Anne Curtis for Bench

Ria Bolivar for Ezra Santos

Like I said, this dress reminds me of Lady Gaga because it looks like an armor dress too. I am not sure but it seems to be made out of capiz or mother of pearl shell.

Now, who do you think wore the dress better?! :)

The Best of Ezra Santos Spring Summer 2013

I know I should not have but for some reason, I missed the Day 1 of the Philippine Fashion Week. How come? Arrghh.. long story. The day already passed so I guess I have to forget and move on. Anyhoo, let me share to you my top pick from Ezra Santos' collection for spring summer 2013 as presented by  L’Oréal Paris.

Paging Lady Gaga.. here comes your armor dress!

This is my favorite in the name of simplicity.

Reminds me of Tweetie de Leon in a Rajo Laurel pintados gown.

I know right? Simple is beautiful.

This one is perfect for Star Magic Ball Maybe for young stars like Julia Montes.

Well, this is just one of the sale pieces I bought for myself.

Golden Gift

When I was in grade school, my grandmother gave me a pair of vintage gold earrings from like the 1940s onward. I can't remember exactly how it looked like but it was small and really cute girl earrings, sold to her by an old friend then given to me as a gift. Anyway, young and careless as I was, I wore it while cleaning our backyard one day. When I cam home, grandmother noticed that I lost an earring and next thing I know, I couldn't wear a pair of gold earrings or anything in gold again because I was worried of losing them.

Anyway, this is a pair of Turkish gold earrings hubby just bought me as a gift. I like it so much because of its bow detail and dangling chain. I know am not that careless girl anymore so more golden things please! :P

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013

What comes to your mind when you say Paris Fashion Week? To me honestly is Louis Vuitton and Chanel. I never been to Paris and to a Louis Vuitton or Chanel fashion show (for me.. they're just a dream), but when you say PFW, I right away think of either LV or Chanel. Acckk, I think this is what I get from reading fashion sites and magazines. Anyway, Louis Vuitton highlighted the last day of Paris Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2013 and here is a photologue.

They did a carousel runway last year and for this year, there was the escalator runway. The models came down in pairs, wearing pieces with checkered print, pointed shoes and 60's headband. The long dresses, skirts and jackets were limited to colors black, yellow, brown, white and yellow-green. The prints were only checkered and flowers.
