In her interview, she said "Yes, it's my new look and uh.. I know a lot of people will react about it. Of course, some negative, maybe a lot positive.. thank you. But, to all the negative comments, I don't care, this is me, this is what I want and I love it!"

Goodbye long and jet black hair.. hello short blonde hair and tattooed arm!
Charice got her tattoo that says 'love eternally' in Singapore. She explained, "The tattoo says 'love eternally' and it has an infinity sign. It's for my love for the people, love for my dad, love for everybody, love for my family."

Photos from her Dubai Infinity Tour concert: no more cleavage and heels, but just vests, jackets and jeans!!
When asked about the sexuality rumors, she was quoted saying recently, "Are you kidding me? I've read tons of negative comments and I don't care. Whatever they think maybe if I look somebody or whoever I don't mind. I mean this is the look that I want. So, the only thing you can do is to move on."
So what do you think of her evolution? Me honestly, I've read a blind item before that says Charice is a lesbian in real life (oppss.. sorry Chasters if you find this offensive), but I think it is true. I really think so by watching her video interview and checking her new look from head to toe.
Okay, though I was never really a big fan of Charice, I admired her powerful voice, bringing pride to the country. With her decision to change and go that way, I can only nod and say "So be it!" even at the back of my mind I'm still wishing that she haven't changed.
Hayyy.. whatever makes you happy Charice! :)

She kinda looks like a glammed-up version of Aiza Seguerra with her new do. Although I don't really like her new look, I also say, let her be.. :)
ReplyDeleteTrue! We cannot do anything about it. That's her life anyway and she's the one to decide what to do with it.
Delete"With her decision to change and go that way, I can only nod and say "So be it!" even at the back of my mind I'm still wishing that she haven't changed." I feel the same way.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a chaster, but I think I admired her even more now. It takes a LOT of courage to come out with your personal style with the risk of people hating you.
Image is everything in the entertainment industry, she took a big BIG risk.
Yeah, it is definitely a huge risk cos we do not know if people will continue to like her with her change of image. However, I understand her decision cos I know it's hard to pretend being someone you are not.
DeleteI'm so shocked too!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the young and charming
Charice I used to see on tv has changed a lot...
and she has a tattoo!
I admire her courage to just do what she wants. Having a lot of people watching your every move is hard and for someone to have that kind of life in a really young age is difficult. So doing something she really wanted should not be something to be upset about by her fans, they should support her and still love her.
Medyo nagmukha nga syang tomboy no? Pero I still like her. I love her powerful voice.
ReplyDeleteHer look is always controversial!! I remember early this year she got us all buzzing around with her Preview cover look! And now THIS. Haaayy, same here, I like her old image! But if this is what makes her happy, then you're right... so be it :)
ReplyDeleteI say GO CHARICE! I love experimenting on my looks esp on my hair so I totally support Charice on this. Just let her be herself :)
ReplyDeleteI heard about that one too but you're right we really cant do anything especially if she loves to be that way. Although, I like her old image better and I think it was more suitable to the genre she sings. Anyhoo, as long as she brings pride in our country. Why not :)

I think she's trying too hard. Honestly, the black haired charice is much better.. But hey, it showbizz... so i can't blame her..
ReplyDeletemaybe she is having identity crisis hahaha... I don't get the hair and the tattoo.. really not her kind of image.. very boyish..

I was never a fan and will never be. I think her look is kind of trying hard korean style. Plus the tattoo, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I heard that blind item about her sexuality!
I was not a fan and will never be. There is something in her that I do not like.
ReplyDeleteMy reaction when I saw that interview: she looks like a trying hard korean pop star!
I heard of that blind item too about her sexuality and I think it is true.
Not a Charice fan, but... what... in the world... did she do???

Not really a fan of Charice but I'm supporting here whatever will make her happy.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of her, but it sure sounds like a drastic change! :) Like, if I would only start wearing black clothes? haha
ReplyDeleteShe's young. She's free to experiment. Her career might suffer, though. She look better sweet and girl-next-dooresque.
ReplyDeletejustin bieber all the way-- her idol? well, saw her..and moved on as she wished :p
