My favorite exercise used to be
tae bo, something I learned from my PE teacher in college.
Basically
, tae bo is an aerobic exercise which is a combination of taekwondo and boxing. Since college, I most of the time used
tae bo plus some stomach crunches to burn down calories. It worked for me esp. after giving birth. However, I changed my exercise when I saw Jim Saret of The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition, training one of the contestants with this 20 minute metabolic exercise. I liked it a lot that from then on, I used it together with reverse crunch to trim down extra weight. No need to go to the
gym!
The 20 Minute Metabolic Exercise

1. Jumping Jacks

2. Sumo Squat

3. Reverse Squat

4. Push Up
5. Planking
NOTE: Do exercises 1 to 4 for 4 minutes each. With exercise 5, try to hold as long as you can. The longer you do it, the more you feel the tightening sensation in your belly area. It is best to do this exercise during the morning or daytime.
The Reverse Crunch
Again, I learned this exercise from a TV show. This is from Moi, Piolo Pascual's personal assistant, in Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown. On one of the episodes, Moi was shown teaching this exercise to her fellow castaways. She even revealed that this is the exercise behind Papa P's sexy abs. I normally use this exercise before going to sleep.
