It'll be Christmas in less than two months, and then a week after that, comes the New Year. You know when the holidays are here, some of us tend to forget about healthy dieting. In my case, I'm already trying to lessen the fats, the sweets and the carbs as early as now. The last time that I went to the gym was January of this year but I still exercise. I do vertical crunches in the evening before going to sleep.
Now my goal is not to gain weight before and after the holidays. To help me more with my diet and fitness regimen, I searched on some great tips that can be found online. Let me share what I found. Of all these tips, I believe #3 is the most effective because I've been practicing this since 2008. I remember one of my dietitian's tip was to eat in between meals to make my metabolism work faster. Together with proper dieting and exercise, it helped me get rid of extra folds after giving birth. Believe me, it worked!
So, do you have a diet plan before or after the holidays? Share it to me.
Source of diet tips 1-5: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/ 1. Avoid the starchy carbs allowed in the diet after 6 PM unless you exercise in the evening. 2. Have at least three vegetables or a big salad with your evening meal. 3. Eat something every two to three hours to keep the fat burning furnace firing all day and avoid energy dips and cravings. 4. Get 30 minutes of physical activity every day, ideally first thing in the morning when you fat burn more efficiently for as long as eight hours afterwards. 5. Drink water every two to three hours - every chemical reaction in the body from extracting nutrients from food to encouraging fat burning needs water to get a result. Get back on track as quickly as you can if things go awry.
