I don't support the killing of animals for fur or leather. However, I have to admit that both fur and leather look good on women once they're already transformed into beautiful pieces like these ones from the Gucci Women's Fall Winter 2011-2012 Fashion Show.

Okay, I am myself guilty of buying things made from genuine leather. In my closet, I have a pair of shoes, a couple of bags, and a coat, which I bought to beat the cold during our Turkish vacation, all made from leather. But, I believe the leather material of those things I bought came from animals which were also slaughtered for consumption.

Gucci said to be selling fur clothing made from baby animals and snakeskin. I don't have a full knowledge on this subject, though. If it's true, I just wish they stop and think of using faux fur and imitation snakeskin instead. It may affect their sales but PETA and other animal-friendly organizations will stop attacking them.
